Finding a White Whale for Under $6 Shipped!

Like I'm guessing many of you do, I have a bunch of "saved" searches over on eBay where I get automated emails whenever someone lists something that matches my search terms.  One of those saved searches I've had active for probably over a decade now - and wouldn't you know it, last week I got a hit on that saved search.

The card in question?  A 2010 Topps Allen & Ginter framed relic of Neftali Feliz.

You may be wondering why this Reds fan would want this particular relic so badly...but as it turns out, that Feliz relic must be some sort of short print because it's rarely for sale!  Even better, now that the Feliz is in hand, I am down to needing only four more framed relics before I can call the 2010 Ginter relic set complete!

Going back to the relic above, it's definitely worth noting that this is a game-used cleats relic!  One of the cool things about the 2010 Allen & Ginter framed relic set is that a lot of the relics were bits of interesting pieces.  For example, the set has relics of things such as a juggling pin, a playing card, a torch wick, a paper airplane, and a skateboard to name a few.

As for the rest of the 2010 Allen & Ginter set, here's what I'm still looking for:

2010 Allen & Ginter Wants:
Minis:
World's Biggest:  6, 7, 9, 14, 19, 25
Regular back minis:  6, 34, 54, 212, 230, 274, 294
Relics:
AJ.  Avery Jenkins
DH.  Dan Haren
LB.  Lance Berkman
RH.  Ryan Howard (bat only)

If nothing else, I guess the moral of this story is that good things can indeed come to those who wait (even if that wait might be in excess of a decade or more)!
